Adopt an Area

Take pride in your patch and help make Drogheda cleaner, greener & more beautiful!

Adopt an area for you to look after

Drogheda Tidy Towns invites individuals, families, schools, businesses, and community groups to take part in our Adopt An Area initiative.

A community-led programme where you choose a public space to care for and maintain.

Whether it’s a street, park entrance, green verge, pathway, or garden bed, your efforts help transform our town one space at a time.

Why adopt an area?

Adopting an area is about more than cleaning up litter, it’s about building community pride, protecting local biodiversity, and creating pleasant public spaces for everyone.

Volunteers who adopt an area contribute to a healthier environment and make Drogheda a better place to live, work, and visit.
